HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SURESH KUMAR KAIT AND HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO W.P.No. 32450 of 2016 ORDER : (Oral) (Per Hon'ble Sri Justice Suresh Kumar Kait Pursuant to order dated 21.02.2017, P.Madhukar Swamy, Liaison Officer has produced the Original General Diary dated 28.04.2016 and Visitors Register of Special Prison for Women, Chanchelguda containing visitors' entry dated 28.04.2016. 2.

We have perused both the registers and found that on 28.04.2016, Goverdhan Reddy, Sub-Inspector of Police was deputed to serve the relied upon documents to the detenue and the said officer after taking the documents visited the jail, which is evident from the Visitor's Register dated 28.04.2016.

3.

The argument of learned counsel for the petitioner is that receipt dated 28.04.2016 would show that the detention order dated 22.04.2016 issued by the Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City along with grounds of detention containing paper booklet through the Inspector of Police, Khulsumpura Police Station, Hyderabad was supplied to the detenue and explained the contents of order in Telugu. It seems that the documents in Telugu were not supplied, however, supplied in English language and made her understood the said documents.

4.

For the aforesaid purpose, whether the respondents had supplied the documents on 28.04.2016, we directed the Police Khulsumpura PS and jail authorities to produce the Original General Diary and Jail Visitor's Register.

5.

Booklet filed by the respondents made it clear that the detention order, grounds of detention and relied upon documents were supplied in Telugu a known language of the detenue.

6.

In view of the above, we find no merit in the present writ petition and the same is accordingly dismissed. 7.

Original General Case Diary and the Visitor's Register of the Special Prison for Women, Chanchelguda have been returned to Sri P.Madhukar Swamy, Liaison Officer present in Court. Miscellaneous petitions if any pending in this petition, shall stands dismissed.
