ORDER:
This Criminal Petition is filed before this Court for grant of bail to the Petitioner who is arrayed as accused No.9 in Crime No.99 of 2026 of Jagtial Town Police Station, Jagitial District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 191(2), 191(3), 296(b), 109(2), 351(2), r/w 190 BNS, 3(1)(r)(s), 3(2)(va) SC ST POA Act.

The brief facts of the case are that, on 27.02.2026, at about 17:00 hrs at Sakhi Center, Daroor Camp, Jagtial, the accused persons formed an unlawful assembly and attacked the complainant's son with a knife and stones, causing severe bleeding injuries. The accused, who are non-SC/ST, also abused and insulted the victim and complainant by taking their caste name and issued threats. The incident occurred due to a dispute arising from an inter-caste love marriage between the victim and the daughter of accused No.2 Hence, the complainant requested the police for necessary action. Basing on the same, the police registered a case against the petitioner for the aforementioned offences. 3.
Heard Sri V. Rajender Rao, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner as well as Sri M. Ramachandra Reddy, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for respondent-State.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that there are no specific allegations against this petitioner and that the petitioner is arrayed as accused No.9. It is further submitted that the petitioner is in jail from
12.03.2026 and the entire investigation is already completed. It is further submitted that the other accused were granted bail by the trial Court itself and accused No.5 was granted bail on 24.03.2026 itself. Therefore, he prayed the Court to grant bail to the petitioner by allowing this criminal petition.

On the other hand, learned Addl. Public Prosecutor opposing the petition stating that the allegations against the petitioner are heinous and grievous in nature and the material part of the investigation is not yet completed. It is further contended that the injury certificate has not yet received. Therefore, he prayed the Court to dismiss the petition.

In the light of the submissions made by both the learned counsel and upon perusal of the material available on record, it appears that the petitioner is in jail from 12.03.2026, who is arrayed as accused No.9 and as seen from the record, LW1 to LW30 were already examined. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the nature of the allegations, the stage of
investigation, and the duration of incarceration, this Court finds it appropriate to grant bail to the petitioner, subject to the following conditions.
i.
The petitioner shall execute a personal bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand only), with two sureties for a like sum each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge for Trial of Cases under SCs/STs (POA), at Karimnagar.
ii.
The petitioner shall appear before the concerned SHO at 11:00 a.m., on every Monday for a period of eight (8) weeks or till filing of charge sheet whichever is earlier, for the purpose of investigation, and thereafter, as and when required.
iii.
The petitioner shall abide by the conditions stipulated in Section 437(3) of Cr.P.C. (presently, Section 480(3) of the BNSS).

Accordingly, the Criminal petition is allowed.
Miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand closed.
