HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.37226 of 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed by the petitioners under Article 226 of the Constitution of India aggrieved over the action of respondents Nos.2 and 3 in not taking action against the unofficial respondents on the complaint lodged by the petitioners on 20.9.2016.

Heard and perused the material available on record. 3.
It is stated in the affidavit that the 4th respondent and other respondents collected the amounts from the petitioners and others promising that they will provide jobs. But they did not do so. The petitioners and others lodged a complaint against respondents Nos.4 to 7. But no action was taken so far.

Considering the circumstances of the case and the grievance of the petitioners, without expressing any opinion on merits, the Writ Petition is disposed of with the following direction:
"Respondents Nos. 2 and 3 are directed to register the complaint lodged by the petitioners on 20.9.2016, if it discloses any cognizable offence, and proceed in accordance with law. If the above respondents fail to register the complaint, the petitioners are at liberty to avail the remedies that are available under law." There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
