CVNR,J & GSP,J W.P.No.26553 of 2017 ORDER: (Per the Hon'ble Sri Justice C.V.Nagarjuna Reddy) The petitioners, who filed O.A.No.188 of 2016 on the file of the Central Administrative Tribunal, Hyderabad Bench (for short 'the Tribunal') challenging the whole selection process in respect of Tradesman Mate post, filed this writ petition feeling aggrieved by non-passing of an interim order and non-disposal of the O.A.

A perusal of the order sheet in the O.A. filed by the petitioners shows that the O.A., which was admitted on 21.03.2016, has undergone more than six adjournments till 08.02.2017. The petitioners have not filed the order sheet pertaining to the period from 10.03.2017, to which date the case was adjourned from 08.02.2017. To a query, Mr.T.Koteswara Rao, learned counsel for the petitioners, has submitted that as the practice of making mentions is prevalent before the Tribunal, mentions have been made for an early hearing, but the case is not being taken up. In our opinion, if the petitioners desire an early hearing, they need to file an application for that purpose. If such an application is filed, we have no doubt that the Tribunal will positively consider the same and dispose of the O.A. expeditiously.

Subject to the above observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. 4.

As a sequel to disposal of the writ petition, W.P.M.P.No.32947 of 2017 filed by the petitioners for interim relief shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
