THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.12727 OF 2019 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed seeking the following relief: " ........ directing the respondents 2, 3 and 4 to provide Personal Security Officer (PSO) (Gunman) along with carbon gun on the cost of the petitioner as per G.O.Rt.No.655 dated 13.03.1997 ..." Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home.

When the learned Assistant Government Pleader pointed out that the petitioner has to make necessary application to the concerned Superintendent of Police, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner will make necessary application to the second respondent and the same may be directed to be considered and disposed of, within a time-frame.

In view of the rival submissions, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the petitioner to make necessary application before the second respondent-Superintendent of Police, Rajanna Sircilla District, putting forth his request, upon which, the second respondent shall consider the same and take action, within a period of four weeks from the date of filing of such application by the petitioner, in terms of G.O.Rt.No.655, Home (SC.B) Department, dated 13.03.1997.

Miscellaneous petitions pending in this case, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
