THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.12731 of 2019 ORDER:

Heard.

2. Though the prayer made in the Writ Petition is to declare the action of respondents 3 and 4 in not canceling the patta issued in favour of the 5th respondent in response to the representation dated 01.04.2018, a reading of the said representation would show that after narrating how Bashapaka Pitchaiah, 5th respondent, was not looking after the petitioner, she seeks a direction to the 5th respondent to pay monthly maintenance of Rs.3,000/- and 2 rooms to her to live. This prayer is in consonance with the provisions of the Senior Citizens Act, 2007.

3. According to learned Government Pleader, already a case is filed under the provisions of Senior Citizens Act, 2007.

4. That being so, leaving it open to the petitioner to work out her remedies with reference to claim of maintenance and any other remedy in civil law, the Writ Petition is dismissed. Miscellaneous Petitions pending in this Writ Petition, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
