THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE SANJAY KUMAR CONTEMPT CASE No.932 of 2016 ORDER:

This contempt case was instituted alleging wilful disobedience to the order dated 26.04.2016 passed by this Court in W.P.M.P.No.17881 of 2016 in W.P.No.14349 of 2016.

Sri Shaik Arifullah, learned counsel for the respondent, would inform this Court that a vacate stay petition was filed on 30.05.2016 in relation to the aforestated interim order while this contempt case was instituted only on 07.06.2016. He would further state that upon hearing the arguments on the vacate stay petition, the writ petition itself came to be dismissed on 05.09.2017.

In that view of the matter, this Court finds no disobedience, much less wilful disobedience, to the order passed by this Court as the vacate stay petition was filed almost immediately thereafter.
