Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Social Welfare appearing for 1st respondents. 2.

The only grievance of the petitioner is that he preferred appeal in Appeal Case No.954 of 2019 before the 1st respondent against the orders dated 06-03-2019 issued by the Sub Collector under the Section 16 of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007, and the same is not yet disposed of. 3.

In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on merits, 1st respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the effective parties, as early as possible.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. 5.

As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
