THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SEETHARAMA MURTI WRIT PETITION No.11313 of 2018 ORDER:

In this Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the only grievance of the writ petitioner is non-registration of a crime against the unofficial respondents 6 to 12 pursuant to the report, dated 28.02.2018, lodged by the petitioner with the Station House Officer, Vedullapalli Police Station, Guntur District, 5th respondent herein.

I have heard the submissions of Sri Sarath Kumar.D, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, and of the learned Government Pleader for Home (A.P.) appearing for the respondents 1 to 5. I have perused the material record.

Learned Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, a copy of which is placed on record, would submit that a case in Crime No.24 of 2018 was registered, on 28.03.2018, by the said Police Officer, for the offences punishable under Sections 447, 324, 506 & 509 read with 34 of Indian Penal Code, 1860, and that investigation is taken up. He also placed on record a copy of the said FIR.

In that view of the matter and as no cause survives for adjudication, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed in the light of this final order.
