When the matter is taken up, a letter bearing C.No.5437/B.3/RJMV/2017, dated 09.12.2017 addressed by the Superintendent of Police, Urban Police District, Rajamahendravaram to the Municipal Commissioner, Rajamahendravaram, is placed on record by the learned Government Pleader. The said instructions read as under: "I humbly submit that the police department has decided to utilize vacant lands belonging to the department for the welfare of police personnel. Accordingly, permission of DGP, AP, Vijayawada has been obtained to establish a petrol out let in survey no 664, Block-II, Ward-5, Jammpeta, Rajamahendravaram measuring 40 mts x 30 mts. In this regard on 9.09.
2017 the superintendent of Police, Urban Police District, Rajamahendravaram requested the District Collector, East Godavri District Kakinada for grant of NOC for construction of petrol retain out let of IOCL, at the above site. The District Collelctor has forwarded the same for consideration of the Municipal Commissioner. The Municipal Commissioner has approved the same subject to an under taking by the Police. Hence, it is hereby submitted that, as per the municipal corporation resolution, the police department will have no objection to the arrangements of temporary haleem batties at Jampeta during Ramzan, if they take all necessary precautions to avoid any untoward incidents as it is a public place." 2.
On noticing the contents of the said letter, it is submitted by the learned counsel that the same may be placed on record and dispose of the writ petition.

In view of the same, writ petition stands disposed of by placing on record the contents of the above said letter bearing C.No.5437/B.3/RJMV/2017, dated 09.12.2017.
As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
