HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.1408 OF 2013 ORDER:
In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, petitioner/A1 seeks to quash the proceedings in PRC.No.01 of 2012 on the file of I Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate, Amalapuram, registered for the offences under Section 354, 324, 447 r/w 34 IPC. 2.
When the matter came up for hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor produced the letter of Sub-Inspector of Police, Amalapuram Taluq Police Station, East Godavari District, along with a copy of judgment dated 18.09.2015 in S.C.No.293 of 2013, on the file of the Assistant Sessions Judge, Amalapuram, which was committed out of PRC.No.01 of 2012 on the file of Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate, Amalapuram and submitted that the accused were acquitted and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in PRC.No.01 of 2012 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed. 3.
In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
