ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed for a mandamus to declare the action of respondent No.5 in detaining lorry bearing No.AP-29T-5919 belonging to petitioner No.2, while transporting rice belonging to petitioner No.1, as illegal and arbitrary. At the hearing, there is no representation for the petitioners.
By order dated 26-3-2009, this Court has directed the respondents to release the lorry along with the seized rice in favour of the petitioners on their jointly furnishing personal bond for the value of the goods seized to the satisfaction of respondent No.5. In view of the said interim order, the Writ Petition outlived its purpose.
The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of as infructuous.
As a sequel to the disposal of the Writ Petition, WPMP No.8299 of 2009 is disposed of.
