ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking the following relief: "...to issue any writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not considering the case of the petitioners by providing them any employment in any suitable posts basing upon their experience rendered to the respondent Company as well as not regularizing the services of the petitioners in spite of representations made by the petitioners dated 29.03.2019 made to the respondents 2 to 5 as illegal, arbitrary, violation of Articles 14 16 and 21 of the Constitution of India, as well as provisions of the Industrial Dispute Act consequently direct the respondents to consider the case of the petitioners providing them employment in the respondent Company and to pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deems fit, just and proper in the circumstances of the case."

Heard Sri S.Srinivasa Sarma, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, and Sri J.Sreenivasa Rao, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents.

It is the case of the petitioners that initially, they were appointed as casual labourers with the respondents in the year 1996 and they have rendered more than two decades of service. But the respondents are neither considering their cases for regularization of their services nor continuing them in any suitable post. Hence, the petitioners submitted a representation dated 29-03-2019 to the respondents requesting to engage them in any suitable post and also to consider their

cases for regularization of their services. But, so far, no orders have been passed.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the respondents be directed to consider the representation dated 29-03-2019 submitted by the petitioners and pass appropriate orders.

Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submits that the respondents would consider the representation dated 29-03-2019 submitted by the petitioners and pass appropriate orders thereon.

Having considered the rival submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Writ Petition can be disposed of directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 29-03-2019 submitted by the petitioners and pass appropriate orders thereon, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
