When the matter is taken up for hearing, none appeared for the petitioner and the petitioner is seeking a direction to the respondents to consider his case for promotion to the post of Lower Division Clerk. 2.

A perusal of the record discloses that the petitioner has attained the age of superannuation and, at this stage, this court cannot give a direction to promote the petitioner as Lower Division Clerk. 3.

In view of the same, this Writ Petition cannot be adjudicated and the Writ Petition is dismissed.
