ORAL ORDER:

Petitioner company claims that it has purchased land admeasuring Ac.30.08 guntas in Survey No. 205; land admeasuring Ac.5.37 guntas in Survey No. 206; land admeasuring Ac. 17.03 guntas in survey No. 207; land admeasuring Ac.7.08 guntas along with structures of built up area 40,498 sq feet situated at Isnapur village, Pattancheru mandal, Sangareddy district from M/s. Zenith Birla (India) Limited vide sale deed bearing P No. 1009/2017 dated 18.10.2017. Petitioner company alleges that on submission of documents, the registration department has calculated the entire area in square yards for payment of stamp duty instead of calculating the area in acres and determined the value of the land at Rs.28,70,75,300/-. Aggrieved by such determination of valuation, this writ petition is filed.

When the matter is taken up, learned counsel for petitioner fairly submitted that since issue is pending consideration before the District Registrar-third respondent under Section 47-A of the Registration Act, a direction be issued to consider and pass orders as expeditiously as possible.

In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits, writ petition is disposed of directing the District Registrar-third respondent to finalise the proceedings under Section 47-A of the Registration Act by duly taking note of the explanation submitted by the petitioner and assigning due reasons. The entire exercise shall be completed and decision to be communicated to petitioner as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
