ORAL ORDER:
Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue.
2.
Petitioner claims to be owner and in possession of land in an extent of Ac.4.00 in Survey No. 444, Ac. 0.07 guntas in Survey No. 241 and Ac.0.12 guntas in Survey No. 217/E (total admeasuring 4.19 guntas), Yanmanbetta village, Kollapur mandal, Nagarkurnool division, Mahabubnagar district. Petitioner claims that said property was acquired by way of unregistered partition deed dated 6.7.2009. Petitioner alleges that several representations are made to mutate his name in the revenue records but so far his grievance is not attended compelling him to institute this writ petition. 3.
As per the procedure evolved for any person to request for mutation of name in the revenue records, he has to make an application to exercise such power by Tahsildar under the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971 in a prescribed form. For mutation of name Form VI-A is prescribed to be made through online web portal. Admittedly, petitioner has not made such application, therefore, petitioner cannot allege now inaction by the respondent authorities. Thus, writ petition is disposed of leaving it open to petitioner to file application in prescribed form for mutation of his name in revenue records. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, are closed. __________________ P NAVEEN RAO,J DATE: 27-6-2019 TVK
