THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C.PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.21573 OF 2017 ORDER:
This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking to issue a writ of Mandamus to direct respondent Nos.1 to 3 to ensure that neither they nor their subordinates interfere with the rights of the petitioner or indulge in causing harassment to him and to investigate into the facts relating to the private complaint referred to them by Judicial First Class Magistrate at Mulug numbered as S.R.No.1743 of 2017 and to take consequential action.

When the matter is taken up, it is brought to the notice of this Court that a case in Crime No.180 of 2017 came to be registered and the same is being investigated into. 3.
Having regard to the above, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition. However, at this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is being harassed at the instance of the accused.

Having regard to the statements made across the Bar by both the counsel, the police are directed not to call the petitioner to the police station and harass him, except in accordance with the procedure established by law.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
