The case of the petitioner is that he retired from service on 30.09.2014 on attaining the age of superannuation. The 4th respondent - society settled all his terminal benefits, except payment of gratuity and leave encashment. Therefore, he made number of representations and the latest being 25.09.2016. Aggrieved by the inaction of the 4th respondent in making payment of gratuity and leave encashment, the present writ petition is filed. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Co-operation.

As the representation of the petitioner dated 25.09.2016 seeking payment of gratuity and leave encashment, is pending consideration with the 4th respondent, without expressing any opinion on merits, the writ petition is disposed of directing the said respondent to consider the claim of the petitioner and take appropriate action in accordance with law.
