This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking the following relief:

"To issue Writ, Order or Direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the 1st respondent in not issuing No Objection Certificate for change of affiliating University in terms of application dated 18-1-2017 with the consequential compliances dt.13-02-2017 submitted by the petitioners as illegal, arbitrary and violative of Article 14 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the 1st respondent herein to issue No Objection Certificate for change of affiliating University forthwith".

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned counsel appearing for Respondents.

When the matter is taken up, it is represented by the learned counsel for the petitioners that for redressal of the grievance of the petitioners, petitioners herein submitted a representation dated 18.1.2017 to the 1st respondent and no orders have been passed on the said representation and a necessary direction may be issued to the 1st respondent to pass appropriate orders on the said representation, in accordance with law, by fixing some time frame.

Recording the said submission and having regard to the nature of controversy, writ petition is disposed of, without expressing any opinion on the merits and demerits of the matter, directing the 1st respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the representation dated 22.12.2015 said to have been submitted by the petitioner herein, in accordance with law,

within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
