This Contempt Case is filed alleging willful disobedience of Order, dated 21-01-2016, in W.P.No.1628 of 2016, by the respondents.

Mr.Sampath Prabhakar Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), submitted that in view of the order of status quo granted by this Court at the instance of respondent Nos.4 to 7 in the Writ Petition, till disposal of the applications filed by them for regularization, which are pending with the Government, the GHMC is disabled from taking any action for demolition of the buildings and that it would take appropriate action depending upon the outcome of those applications.

The Contempt Case is, accordingly, closed, by placing on record the above undertaking of the learned Standing Counsel for GHMC.
