This writ petition is filed aggrieved by the action on the part of the respondents in not considering the petitioners' application dated 19.06.2008 for regularization of 1000 sq.yds of house site bearing Plot No.9 in Sy.No.44 (part), situated at Makta Mahaboobpet village, Serilingampally Mandal, R.R.District as per G.O.Ms.No.166, Revenue (Assignment POT) Department, dated 16.02.2008.

Heard Sri P.Gangaiah Naidu, learned Senior Counsel for the petitioners and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue submits that in view of orders dated 10.09.2015 in PIL No.517 of 2013, wherein the State of Telangana as well as State of Andhra Pradesh have given undertaking that they have withdrawn G.O.Ms.No.166, dated 16.02.2008, no positive direction can be issued in this writ petition to consider the application of the petitioner under G.O.ms.No.166, dated 16.02.2008. On the other hand, Sri P.Gangaiah Naidu, learned Senior Counsel submits that the Government has issued Government Orders subsequently covering the issue of regularization of lands. In view of the same, it is open for the petitioners to make appropriate application if subsequent Government Orders covering the issue in the subject matter are issued. On such

application, it is for the competent authority to consider the same and pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stands closed.
