THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SEETHARAMA MURTI WRIT PETITION No.10638 of 2018 ORDER:

This Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is filed by the petitioner complaining inter alia that the 3rd respondent is not investigating into the case in Crime No.448 of 2017, registered, on 13.12.2017, and pending on the file of Arundalpet Police Station, Guntur.

I have heard the submissions of Sri N.V.R.Amarnath, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, and of the learned Government Pleader for Home (A.P.) appearing for the respondents 1 to 3. I have perused the material record.

At the hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that if a direction is given to the Police Officer concerned to expedite the investigation and file the final report, either way, by following the procedure established by law, the grievance of the petitioner stands redressed.

Learned Government Pleader for Home endorses the said submission.

Having regard to the facts and submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Station House Officer, Arundalpet Police Station, Arundalpet, Guntur District/3rd respondent herein, to expedite the investigation into the afore-stated crime and file a final report, as early as possible, by following the procedure established by law. There shall be no order as to costs.

MSRM, J W.P.No.10638 of 2018 Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed in the light of this final order.
