THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.23326 OF 2017 ORDER:

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a mandamus to declare the action of respondent No.2 - The Secretary, Regional Transport Authority - cum - District Transport Officer, Sangareddy, Sangareddy District in not renewing the Fitness Certificate of the petitioner's vehicle i.e., Motor Cab bearing registration No.TS 15 UA 3486 despite repeated requests, as being illegal and arbitrary.

It is submitted across the Bar that, in similar circumstances, this Court, in W.P.No.9570 of 2017, dated 06.04.2017, had directed the respondent - authorities to allow the petitioners to submit their applications forthwith through online and process the same, as expeditiously as possible, and complete the testing formalities within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. This Court made it clear that the respondent - authorities may take action against the petitioners for furnishing the alleged fake addresses and getting their vehicles registered in accordance with law.

In the circumstances, this Writ Petition is allowed in terms of the order, dated 06.04.2017, of this Court in W.P.No.9570 of 2017. 4.
