THE HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN Arbitration Application No.21 of 2011 ORDER:

This Court, by its order dated 12.09.2011, appointed Sri S. Rama Krishna Reddy, Retired District Judge, as the arbitrator for resolution of the disputes between the parties relating to the deed of agreement dated 01.06.2009. Sri S.Rama Krishna Reddy expired on 14.02.2016 because of heart stroke, and his son has since returned the entire bundle. In view of the demise of the arbitrator appointed by this Court on 12.09.2011, it is now necessary that an arbitrator be appointed in his place. Both Sri V.Nitesh, Learned Counsel for the applicant and Sri C.R. Sridharan, Learned Counsel for the 1st respondent, would agree that Sri V.V. Raghavan, Retired District Judge, be appointed as the sole arbitrator to resolve the disputes between the parties. I consider it appropriate, therefore, to appoint Sri V.V. Raghavan, Retired District Judge, No.

302, Legends Residency, Street No.2, Shantinagar, Masab Tank, Hyderabad - 500 028, as the sole arbitrator. The Learned arbitrator shall fix his remuneration, and incidental charges for the arbitration proceedings, in consultation with the parties. He shall complete arbitration proceedings, and pass an award at the earliest, preferably within a period of six months from the date of commencement of arbitral proceedings. He is also requested to hold sittings, as far as possible, in the mediation centre of the High Court. The Arbitration Application is, accordingly, disposed of. The miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall also stand disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
