Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Respondents.

Petitioners claim to be absolute owners of agricultural land to an extent of Ac.3.30 guntas in Survey No.238/1 of Kothapally (Haveli) Revenue village, Khazipet mandal, Warangal district having purchased the same under registered sale deed bearing Doc.No.15798/2017 dated 13.12.2017. According to the petitioners, they have made application in Form VI-A on 29.12.2017 seeking mutation of their names in the revenue records. A copy of receipt issued by TSTS acknowledging filing of application for mutation is enclosed to the writ petition as material paper. Alleging inaction on the part of respondents, this writ petition is filed.

In view of the same, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the 4th respondent-Tahsildar to process the application filed by the petitioners on 29.12.2017 for mutation of their names in revenue records in accordance with the provisions of Telangana State Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act, 1971 and the Rules made thereunder and pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
