THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SEETHARAMA MURTI WRIT PETITION No.10695 of 2018 ORDER:

In this writ petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the only grievance of the writ petitioner is with regard to the inaction of the respondents 2 & 3 in registering a crime on the report, dated 19.03.2018, lodged by the petitioner. 2.

I have heard the submissions of Sri K.V.Ratnakar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, and of the learned Government Pleader for Home (A.P.) appearing for the respondents 1 to 3. I have perused the material record.

3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that by making a false claim of adoption, a registered Deed, dated 22.11.2002, is fabricated and that thereafter also, the 4th respondent started proclaiming that he is the adopted son of the grandfather of the petitioner, but in fact, the petitioner's father is the adopted son of the grandfather by name Hem Raj Kothari and that, therefore, having been aggrieved of the inaction of the police in registering a crime against the unofficial respondents, the present writ petition is filed.

4.

Learned Government Pleader for Home (A.P.), on instructions, would submit that a case in Crime No.64 of 2018 was registered on 01.04.2018 by Governorpet Police Station, Vijayawada, pursuant to the report, dated 19.03.2018, lodged by the petitioner. He placed on record a copy of the FIR to which a copy of the report, dated 19.03.2018, is enclosed.

MSRM, J W.P.No.10695 of 2018 5.

In reply, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the fact that a crime has been registered is being informed to the petitioner for the first time, today by means of the submissions being made before this Court.

6.

Recording the submissions, this Writ Petition is disposed of as no cause survives for adjudication. It is needless to mention that the Police Officer concerned shall complete the investigation into the crime expeditiously and file a final report, by strict adherence to the procedure established by law. There shall be no order as to costs.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed in the light of this final order.
