This writ petition is filed for the following relief; "... to issue a writ or order more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not including the petitioners caste in the list of socially and educationally backward classes i.e., BC-B at Serial No.6, by inserting Reddy-Gandla Caste as subcaste of Gandla Caste in Telangana State (SC, ST and BCs) Regulation of Issue of Community Certificates Act, 1993 and Rules, 1997 and not issuing caste certificates to the petitioners inspite of receipt of the petitioners written representations dt.16.03.2019 as illegal, arbitrary, unjust and also Article 14, 19 and 21 of the Constitution of India and to pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deems fit just and property in the circumstances of the case."
Learned Government Pleader for Social Welfare submits that the petitioner-Gandla Khula Sankshema Sangham, Jayashankar Bhupalpally District, has to approach BC Commission in respect of their grievance and it is for the BC Commission to consider the same basing on its recommendations, the Government will take further action.
Learned Counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner will make necessary application before the BC Commission.
Recording the aforesaid submission of learned counsel, the writ petition is disposed of and it is open for the petitioner to file an application ventilating its grievance before the B C Commission, and it is for the said commission to take appropriate action in accordance with law. No order as to costs.
As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition, shall stand closed.
