The case of the petitioner is that he made an application before the 2nd respondent on 25.07.2018 for issuance of verification certificate in respect of arms license, as he was granted arms license, vide Memo No.8868/Arms/2017, dated 24.07.2018. But, till date, no action has been taken by the 2nd respondent. Aggrieved by the same, the present writ petition is filed.

Heard both sides.

Since it is stated that the application of the petitioner for issuance of verification certificate is pending before the 2nd respondent, the 2nd respondent is directed to dispose of the application of the petitioner, dated 25.07.2018, in accordance with law, and take action accordingly within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
