The grievance of the petitioner is that though she was granted licence for running a wine shop initially at premises bearing No. 18-2-110, Jangameet, Falaknuma, Hyderabad, on account of various problems created, both by rivals and others, she was forced to shift the shop to new premises bearing No. 18-2-60/81, Plot No.1 situated at Ambedkarnagar, Nagulabanda, Bandlaguda, Hyderabad. In that process, since the petitioner could not carry on the business from 14.03.2016 till 01.07.2016, she sustained a heavy dent to the revenue. The case of the petitioner is that she submitted the bid for highest amount, keeping in view the potentiality of the area i.e. Falaknuma and she had also remitted the agreed licence fee installment out of total bid amount of Rs.1,71,00,000/-.
The petitioner asserts that setting out all these details, she had made a representation to the 2nd respondent Commissioner, Prohibition & Excise on 28.09.2016 for remission of the licence fee for the period for which she could not carry on the business on account of the circumstances narrated above. She therefore, prays for consideration of the same. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.
Learned Government Pleader for Prohibition & Excise submits that the representation of the petitioner would be considered in accordance with law.
Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition stands disposed of with a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the
representation dated 28.09.2016 of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders thereon, within three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
Consequently, the miscellaneous Applications, if any shall also stand disposed of.
