THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.41209 of 2015 ORDER:

The prayer of the petitioner in this case is as under: "Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue an appropriate Writ, Order, Direction more particularly one the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents 2 to 4 herein in not completing the investigation by arresting the 5th respondent herein pursuant to crime in FIR No. 371 of 2015 dated 08-10-2015 on the file of the 4th respondent herein for the offences punishable under Section 448, 498-A, 354, 506, 509 IPC and Section 3(1)(x) of SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities Act as illegal, arbitrary, unreasonable and violative of Articles 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India and contrary to the provisions contemplated under the Code of Criminal Procedure and contrary to the very spirit and object of the Rule 7 of the Scheduled Caste/Schedule Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Rules, 1995 and to pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."

Written instructions dated 02.03.2016 were furnished by the Sub-Inspector of Police, V Town Police Station, Nellore, stating that a charge sheet had been filed before the V Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate at Nellore. A copy of the charge sheet is also placed on record and it is stated that the P.R.C. number is awaited. In the light of the afore-stated developments, the grievance of the petitioner stands redressed.

The writ petition is accordingly closed.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed. No order as to costs.
