THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T.SUNIL CHOWDARY WRIT PETITION NO.3314 OF 2004 ORDER:
This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking to issue writ of mandamus declaring the order issued by the respondent vide proceedings No.10 (A) Bn/211/PRM/Estt-48, dated 24-09-2001, rejecting the petitioner's application for appointment on compassionate grounds as illegal, arbitrary and violative of principles of natural justice and consequently direct the respondent to provide employment to the petitioner to any suitable post.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner submitted a representation to the respondent on 25-04-2016 and the same was received by the respondent on 26-04-2016.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submitted that the respondent may be directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner in the light of the scheme for compassionate appointment issued by the Government of India, dated 16-01-2013.
4. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 25-04-2016 and pass appropriate orders thereon in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, in this writ petition shall stand closed.
