THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.1896 OF 2016 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure (Cr.P.C) by the petitioners-accused Nos.1 to 3 seeking to quash the proceedings in FIR No.8 of 2016 on the file of II-Town Police Station, Tenali, Guntur District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A IPC and 3 & 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

Heard and perused the material available on record. Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the 1st petitioner was arrested and released on bail and the petitioners 2 and 3 were also granted station bail by the police concerned, and the investigation is in progress.

In view of the above, this Court is inclined to pass the following order:

The police concerned are directed to complete the investigation and file final report, if any, in accordance with law before the competent Court, and if the petitioners have any grievance over such final report, they are at liberty to approach the appropriate forum for appropriate relief.

With the above directions, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending if any, shall stand closed.
