This Writ Petition is filed for the following relief: "For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, the Petitioner prays that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of WRIT OF MANDAMUS declaring inaction on the part of Respondents 3 to 5 in granting Social Security Pension (SSP) in favour of the petitioner as illegal, irregular, arbitrary, contrary to G.O.Ms.No.113, dt.

19.06.2014 and G.O.Ms.No.135, dt. 17.09.2014 issued by 1st respondent and offends Articles 14 & 21 of Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents to sanction and release the Social Security Pension to the petitioner."

When the matter is taken up, it is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner submitted a representation to the respondents for redressal of his grievance but no action has been taken thereon and a request is made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, to direct the respondents to take appropriate action on the said representation within a time frame.

On the other hand, it is submitted by the learned Government Pleader that the action will be taken in accordance with law.

AVSS, J W.P.No.5869 of 2017 Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of, without expressing any opinion on the merits, directing the respondents to take appropriate action on the representation, dated 05.12.2016, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of this order, in accordance with law.
