THE HON'BLE DR. JUSTICE SHAMEEM AKTHER CRIMINAL PETITION No.6027 of 2014 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. by the petitioners-A.2 to A.14 seeking to quash the proceedings against them in C.C. No.450 of 2011 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Kamareddy, which was taken cognizance for the offences punishable under Sections 498A and 506 IPC and 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners, the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent-State and perused the record.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the parties have compromised the matrimonial dispute and hence, prays to quash the impugned proceedings.

The petitioners are at liberty to work out remedies available to them under law before the trial Court. 5.

With the above observation, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. Interim stay granted on 06.06.2014 is vacated.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in the Criminal Petition shall stand closed.
