Petitioner prosecuted Master of Social Works and obtained degree from Osmania University. He secured 85.20% marks in the said examination. Petitioner applied to the post of Additional Programme Officer in the respondent-Organization.
The respondents prepared list of candidates for selection to the said post. Petitioner is shown at Sl.No.308 in the said list by showing marks secured in Master of Social Work as 75.29%. Whereas petitioner has secured 85.20%. Having noticed this mistake, petitioner submitted representation on 19.04.2017 to the Special Chief Secretary, Department of Panchayat Raj & Rural Development, Hyderabad (1st respondent). Alleging no response to the said representation and that the recruitment process is being completed, this writ petition is filed.

Since the petitioner has already ventilated his grievance in the representation, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 1st respondent to examine the claim of the petitioner with reference to correction of percentage of marks secured by him and pass appropriate orders and intimate the same to the petitioner. The issue may be examined and decision shall be taken and communicated to the petitioner before finalization of the selections to the post of Additional Programme Officer. There shall be no order as to costs.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
