HON'BLE Dr. JUSTICE B. SIVA SANKARA RAO Crl.P.M.P.No.8592 and 8593 of 2017 in/and Criminal Petition No. 7777 of 2017 ORDER :
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners/ A.1 to A.3 in Cr.No.461 of 2016 on the file fo the Jubilee Hills Police Station, Hyderabad, Telangana, registered for the offences punishable under Section 498-A IPC and u/ sec.3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, on the report of the 2nd respondent/ defacto-complainant and the learned Public Prosecutor for the 1st respondent-State and perused the grounds urged in the quash petition.
Both parties present and stated that they settled the matter amicably outside the Court with the advice of the elders to purchase peace and vide Crl.P.M.P.No.8592 and 8593 of 2017 sought permission to compound the offences and therefrom to quash the proceedings and accordingly permission is granted to compound the offences. In the result, the Crl.P.M.P.No.8592 and 8593 of 2017 are allowed. Consequently, the Criminal Petition is also allowed quashing the proceedings in Cr.No.461 of 2016 on the file of the Jubilee Hills Police Station, Hyderabad, Telangana against the petitioners/ A.1 to A.3. The petitioners/ A.1 to A.3 are acquitted and their bail bonds shall stand cancelled.
