Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Venkateswarlu Nimmagadda, learned Standing Counsel for respondent No.2.

Apprehending demolition of the petitioner's property bearing D.No. 20-14-6/A, M.R.College, Stadium Road, Lanka Veedi, Vizianagaram Municipality, bearing T.S.No.480 situated at Phoolbagh Road, Vizianagarm Town and District, he filed this writ petition.

Learned Standing Counsel for respondent No.2 submits that the Corporation has been making efforts to acquire the above mentioned property of the petitioner through consent under Section 146 of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Act, 1955, failing which, it will follow the procedure prescribed under Section 147 thereof.

Recording the afore-stated stand of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, the writ petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs. ______________________ JUSTICE C.PRAVEEN KUMAR 14.06.2016, vhb
