HONOURABLE JUSTICE G.SRI DEVI CRIMINAL PETITION No. 3487 of 2019 ORDER:

The present Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioner/A2 under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., seeking to quash the proceedings initiated against him in C.C.No.618 of 2015 (old No.506 of 2006) on the file of the Judicial First Class Magistrate, Shadnagar. When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is brought to the notice of this Court that out of 18 accused, the proceedings against A1, A3 to A8 and A12 to A18 were quashed by this Court and the petitioner/A2 also stands on the same footing as that of the aforesaid accused.

A perusal of the material on record would show that some of the accused approached this Court and filed Criminal Petitions to quash the proceedings against them and this Court allowed the said Criminal Petitions, the particulars of which are as under: Sl. No. Crl.P.No.

The record further discloses that the case against A9 to A11 was abated as they died. In the light of the above, this Court looked into the records and convinced that the petitioner herein, who is arrayed as A2 in the aforesaid C.C. also stands on the same footing as that of the other accused, whose petitions were allowed. In view of the same, the Criminal Petition is allowed and the proceedings against the petitioner/A2 in C.C.No.618 of 2015 (old C.C.No.506 of 2006) on the file of the Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Shadnagar, are hereby quashed.

As a sequel thereto, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition shall stand dismissed. ____________________ JUSTICE G.SRI DEVI 27.12.2019 Gsn
