THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.S. RAMACHANDRA RAO WRIT PETITION No.12093 OF 2016 ORDER:
Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents.

The petitioners state that they made a representation to the 3rd respondent to correct the name of the 1st petitioner in the revenue records in respect of land admeasuring Ac.1.20 guntas Survey No.80/1 of Motinagar, Khammam Urban, Khammam District, and also to conduct survey as per proceedings in Rc.No.B1/4949/2013 to demarcate the said land through the 5th respondent. The grievance of the petitioners is that the 3rd respondent has not taken any action on the said representation till date.

The Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents states that the petitioners should file an application before the 2nd respondent for correction of the name of the 1st petitioner in view of the decision of this Court in G. Prabhakar v. State of Telangana, rep., by its Principal Secretary, Revenue Department[1] and that if such an application is filed by the petitioners, the 2nd respondent will pass orders thereon within two months from the date of submission of the said application.
4. In view of the said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 1st petitioner to make a fresh application before the 2nd respondent seeking correction of his name in the revenue records in respect of the subject land and if such an
application is filed, the 2nd respondent shall consider the same in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders thereon and communicate his decision to the petitioners. The 2nd respondent is also directed to conduct survey of the subject land for demarcating it through the 5th respondent. There shall be no order as to costs.
