W.P.No.23014 of 2015 was filed by the petitioner through his GPA Smt. P.Padmavathi declaring the action of the respondents' Bank in not finalizing and clearing off the pensionary benefits, as illegal and arbitrary, and the Bank authorities have objected to the presence of the General Power of Attorney.

Now, WP No.29457 of 2017 is filed by the petitioner himself seeking the same relief as that of in WP No.23014 of 2015 and petitioner himself wants to prosecute his case before the respondents-Bank authorities.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

Sri M.Srikanth Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents Bank submits that the petitioner's case will be considered as per Rules in force.

Counter is filed in WP No.23014 of 2015 raising various objections and it is for the Bank to consider the same while releasing pensionary benefits to the petitioner. In view of the submissions of the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent-Bank, the respondents are directed to consider the case of the petitioner for grant of pensionary benefits in accordance with Rules in force and take

action accordingly, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.

Accordingly, W.P.No.29457 of 2017 is disposed of and W.P.No.23014 of 2015 is dismissed as infructuous as cause in the writ petition does not survive for consideration. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand dismissed.
