I.A.No.1 of 2025 This application is filed under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), seeking extension of time to surrender before the concerned Station House Officer.

Heard Mr. N.Gopi Krishna, learned counsel representing Mr. Y. Soma Srinath Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Syed Yasar Mamoon, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent/State.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that due to his health problems the petitioner could not surrender before the investigating officer pursuant to the orders passed by this Court in Crl.P.No.5574 of 2025 to surrender on or before 07.05.2025. He further submits that if the above said time is not extended for surrender, the petitioner will

be put to great hardship, hence requested this Court to grant ten (10) days time to surrender before the concerned Station House Officer.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor has not opposed the same.

In view of the above and having regard to the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, the application is allowed and the time granted by this Court is extended directing the petitioner to surrender before the concerned Station House Officer on or before 18.06.2025 and the other conditions mentioned in the above said order remains unaltered.
