ORDER

None appears for the petitioner. Heard learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents. This writ petition is filed challenging the Memo No.G1/605/2002, dated 21.5.2002 issued by the 2nd respondent and the letter dated 18.07.2002 issued by the 1st respondent demanding payment of deficit stamp duty of Rs.48,635/- and deficit registration fee of Rs.1,890/-, totalling to Rs.50,255/-. When the matter is taken up for consideration, learned Government Pleader produced before this Court a letter dated 20.09.2010 addressed by the Joint Sub-Registrar-I to the learned Government Pleader stating that the petitioner paid the deficit stamp duty and the learned counsel for the petitioner addressed a letter to the Registrar (judicial) on 14.09.2010 to withdraw the writ petition, pursuant to the instructions issued by his client. After payment of deficit stamp duty the document was numbered as 6760.

In view of the same, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
