ORDER

This petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is filed by the petitioner/accused seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.247 of 2015 on the file of V Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate, Kakinada, registered for the offence punishable under Section 419 IPC, against him.

2. It is alleged in the charge sheet that the accused was moving his car by making a sticker as Government of India on the glasses and number plates of the car with an intention to cheat the public by impersonation.

3. Heard and perused the material on record.

4. In view of the specific allegations in the charge sheet, this is not a fit case where the proceedings against the petitioner can be quashed. Truth or otherwise of the allegations can only be decided during the course of trial. However, the petitioner is at liberty to avail the remedies as available under law before the appropriate Court.

5. With the above direction, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous applications, if any, pending in this petition shall stand closed.
