Petitioner claims that he is the owner and in possession of land to an extent of Ac.3-46 cents in Sy.No.3-1B of Kurakalva Revenue Village, Renigunta Mandal, Chittoor District. Originally it was assigned to one K.Giri Kumar, under Ex-Serviceman quota on 30.06.1994. After the ten years period of such assignment, the said Giri Kumar sold the land to the petitioner on 01.09.2016. After the said purchase, petitioner applied for mutation of his name in the revenue records in Form VI-A. Alleging inaction on the said application, this writ petition is filed. 3.

The telugu version of Form VI-A is enclosed as Ex.P.1 and it discloses submission of such application on 27.06.2017 and meeseva receipt of filing of such application is enclosed at page No.11. 4.

In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on merits, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the Tahsildar, Renigunta Mandal, Chittoor Distirct (3rd respondent) to examine the claim of the petitioner by duly considering the request of the petitioner in the application submitted for mutation on 27.06.2017 and pass appropriate orders, as warranted by law, by following the due procedure as required under the A.P. Rights in Land and Pattedar Pass Books Act 1971, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.

- 3 - Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
