HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V.AFZULPURKAR WRIT PETITION Nos.2475 and 2514 of 2016 COMMON ORDER:

Heard.

Against the order of the 3rd respondent in Proceedings D.Dis. (E4)/3807-A/2010, dated 17-12-2014 cancelling DKT pattas of the petitioners, the petitioners filed appeals before the 2nd respondent. The said appeals along with stay applications filed on 27-12-2014 are stated to be still pending and not yet taken up by the 2nd respondent. The petitioners apprehend that in the absence of hearing of the said appeals and the stay petitions, the order of the 3rd respondent is likely to be exectued. Hence, the present writ petition is filed.

In view of the fact that the petitioners' appeals are pending before the 2nd respondent along with stay petitions since 27-12-2014, I deem it appropriate to direct the 2nd respondent to fix an early date of hearing of the said appeals preferably within one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and pass appropriate orders atleast on the stay petitions. The Writ Petitions are, accordingly, disposed of. No costs. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed. _______________________ VILAS V.AFZULPURKAR, J 28.01.2016 Prv
