THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T.SUNIL CHOWDARY WRIT PETITION No.889 OF 2012 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a Writ of Mandamus declaring the notification issued for the purpose of conducting examinations in respect of Agama (Archaka) Examinations 2012 in so far as fixing the minimum age limit as 16 years as on 01-07-2011, as illegal, and ultra vires to the provisions of Articles 14, 25 and 26 of the Constitution of India besides directing not to insist the minimum age limit of 16 years, for appearing Agama (Archaka) Examinations 2012.

The learned counsel for the petitioners seeks permission of this Court to permit the petitioners to withdraw the writ petition with liberty to avail the remedies available to them under law. He also filed a letter in the Registry to that effect.

Permission is granted.

Hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn granting liberty as prayed for. No costs.

Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
