N.Lunald, Krishna District. v. Andhra Pradesh Residential Educational Institutions Society,
HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI W.P.No.25400 OF 2001
ORDER
Heard Sri Ch.Satish Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and Sri Uma Shankar Lokanadham, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the 1st respondent. This writ petition is filed seeking to declare the action of the respondents in issuing the proceedings dated 11.06.2001, as arbitrary and illegal, and consequently, direct the respondents to regularize the services of the petitioners with effect from the date of their initial appointment. It is the case of the petitioners that they were initially appointed as Vocational Instructors in 1990, 1991 & 1992 respectively and that they are entitled for regularization of the services in view of un-interrupted service rendered by them.
When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the 1st respondent submits that the services of the 1st and 3rd petitioners were regularized vide G.O.Ms.No.54, dated 20.4.2011, and as the 2nd petitioner is not working with the respondents, his services were not regularized. Leaned Standing Counsel placed on record G.O.Ms.No.54, dated 20.4.2011 & consequential proceedings dated 27.4.2011.
Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners concedes the factum of regularizing the services of the 1st and 3rd petitioners.
In view of the same, the cause in this writ petition does not survive for adjudication.
Accordingly, the Writ petition is closed. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
