THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.26980 of 2007 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed for a writ of mandamus to declare the action of the respondent Corporation in not paying the Physically Handicapped Conveyance Allowance to the petitioner from 17.08.1992 as illegal and arbitrary.

Heard and perused the material available on record. 3.

On 18.12.2007, this Court passed an interim order in W.P.M.P.No.35278 of 2007, which reads as follows: "There shall be interim direction to the respondents to consider payment of conveyance allowance payable to the physically handicapped persons, to the petitioner, and pass appropriate orders, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, and communicate the same to the petitioner."

The said order reached its finality since the petitioner has not approached the Court aggrieved over any of the decision taken by the respondent Corporation. Therefore, nothing survives in this writ petition for adjudication and the same becomes infructuous. 5.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed. _____________________ RAJA ELANGO,J Date: 28th October, 2016 KL
