THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION Nos.21914, 21924, 21985, 22194, 22299 and 22309 OF 2017 COMMON ORDER:
These Writ Petitions, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, came to be filed mainly challenging G.O.Ms.No.100, Home (General.A) Department, dated 26.04.2013.
When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is brought to the notice of this Court by the learned AGP, that the Committee, which was constituted in pursuance to the orders of this Court, has made certain recommendations on the issue and basing on the same, G.O.Ms.No.75 dated 23.06.2017 came to be issued by the Government.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that said G.O. was kept in abeyance.
The said fact is not seriously disputed by the learned AGP. Having regard to the above and since the issue raised in these writ petitions has already been adjudicated by this Court in a batch of Writ Petitions viz., W.P.No.19046 of 2014 and batch, vide common order dated 31.10.2016, read with W.P.M.P.No.16343 of 2017 in W.P.No.18779 of 2014, dated 13.04.2017, all these Writ Petitions are disposed of in terms of the common order dated 31.10.2016 in W.P.No.19046 of 2014 and batch read with the order in W.P.M.P.No.16343 of 2017 in W.P.No.18779 of 2014, dated 13.04.2017.
