HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITON No.10830 OF 2018 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed aggrieved by the inaction of the respondents in settling the entitled gratuity and pension contribution amounts to the petitioner for the period of service rendered.

It is the case of the petitioner that he was initially joined in the services of the respondent organization initially as Quality Supervisor vide proceedings Ref.No.14/7/Pers/82/HO, dated 25.01.1983 and got promotion as Assistant Director in the year 1990 and continued to work in the said capacity till 30.06.1994. Though the petitioner is eligible and entitled for payment of gratuity and pension contributory amounts for the period that he has worked in the respondent organization, the same are not settled by the respondent. Aggrieved by the same, petitioner issued legal notice dated 10.01.2018 to the respondents 2 and 3 for payment of gratuity and pension benefits. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri T.Sujan Kumar, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents 2 and 3. Since the petitioner has already issued legal notice to the respondents 2 and 3, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the respondents 2 and 3 are directed to treat the legal notice dated 10.01.2018 as representation of the petitioner and dispose of the same, in accordance with law.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
